Copperplate has a large x-height so that it could be used in long texts—copperplate — calligraphic, classic elegance, style of the 18th century. The typeface is made in two weights: Regular Weight and Bold Weight.

Both have the naturals in a heavy, rounded form used for most letters; the terminals are thin and straight. The Narrow width has the same thin, consecutive terminals. This comes in handy, for example, to set off copy in confined spaces and to line up several columns of text. Copperplate includes Greek and Cyrillic and the standard fonts of regular and narrow.
